Craftsy Continues to Impress

If you have followed me for a while, you'll know that I'm huge fan of Craftsy.com and their quilting classes.

Online Quilting Classes
They are constantly adding classes, one of which I took this morning, all from the comfort of my quilting room!  So, if you haven't checked it out yet, just what is Craftsy?

Craftsy is a worldwide craft community offering online classes. It also has a patterns area where independent designers (like me!) can sell their patterns; a supplies shop that has yarn, fabric, and class kits; and a projects section where members share pictures of their latest creation.  You can find all kinds of classes on Craftsy, from quilting, sewing, knitting, painting, photography, cooking, and more.

Craftsy classes are just like an in-person class, with none of the drawbacks (like travel expenses!).  Available anytime online, world-class instructors (Carol Doak, Angela Walters, and Kimmy Brunner to name a few!) bring you the latest techniques. You can retake the class as many times as you want, and you can watch the same section over and over again until you learn the technique.  Awesome!

For me, watching a Craftsy class is almost like an in-person class.  I can go at the speed I want, and even ask the instructor questions.  And even though I've always been satisfied, the classes come with a 100% money-back guarantee.

So, if you haven't already, give Craftsy a try.  Since I love quilting classes, especially those featuring longarms, I took the free mini-class, "A New Look at Longarm Quilting".  I highly recommend this class for those starting out with a longarm, and for those who have been at it awhile, like me.  Wish I had seen it before I quilted my latest quilt--I could have used some of the freehand ideas!

Also, be sure to check back later in the week.   I'll be participating in Quilting Gallery's Blog Hop Party,
Blog Hop Party with Give-Aways
and yes, there will be giveaways!  See you soon!

Happy Quilting!
