Giveaway Winners and Some Progress

Thank you all for celebrating my first blogging year with me!  I appreciate all of your wonderful comments, and the feedback on what you like to see.

The majority of you really like tutorials and patterns, so I will continue with those, along with quilting helps.  I love to share what I'm working on, and glad I can help and inspire others in their quilting adventures.

And now for the winners of the holiday fabric bundles!  There are 23 entries (after eliminating duplicates), and the random number generator was enlisted to pick two winners.

Congratulations to Rhonda and Abbigail!  I've sent you both emails, so please reply with those addresses!

And, last but not least, here's a progress update on the December Book of the Month, Skinny Quilts by Kim Schaefer.

I chose her pattern 'Village Square' and made a bunch of blocks in reds because I wanted a seasonal color.  But then I discovered that my table is just not table runner friendly!  Grrr!

So I'll make placemats and a matching wall hanging instead.  And to add a modern twist to this wall hanging, I'm adding solid pieces to the sides.  Here's where I'm at:

And if I quilt it with no holiday motifs, I can use it at least twice in the year instead of just at Christmas.  Now to figure out those quilting designs--wish me luck!

Happy Quilting!
