Midweek Makers #71

Welcome to another edition of Midweek Makers! I've got more to share on my aqua project,

mainly more columns and longer strips. After lots of sewing yesterday, the design is evolving though I'm not going to show it all right now. But I do thank everyone who commented with their suggestions on what direction this project should take - I was truly inspired!

And how about a little inspiration from last week? The three most viewed projects where:

Children's Library Blocks that Tish from Tish's Adventures in Wonderland is working on

Postcard from Sweden that Andree from Quilting and Learning is making

and a Purple Simply Woven quilt made by Sue and Roseanne over at Home Sewn by Us

                                                 PURPLE2

Great job ladies! Keep up the great work, and be sure to grab a 'Featured' button!

Now who has projects to share this week?
  • Please link directly to your specific post, not your main blog page.
  • Link any recent post that has to do with sewing and fabric.
  • Visit the other party guests and leave a comment. It's a great way to make new friends!
  • Grab the Midweek Makers button code to put on your post or sidebar to let everyone know about the party!

For those of you who have the Midweek Makers button on your blog - thank you! I have now switched over to a .com address, dropping the blogspot portion, which means that the Midweek Makers buttons need updating on your own blogs. So, grab the new code for the update - thanks!!

  1. Good Morning Susan,
I just love the colors in the aqua quilt - so very pretty. I can hardly wait to see where this quilt is going . . . Thanks for listing us as one of the most viewed links from last week. How exciting is that?! I'm new to the blogging world and linking parties, but I am certainly enjoying it. ~smile~

  2. I can't wait to see where those turquoise strips are going! Is that maybe a sneak peak of the layout? Thanks for sharing my Children's Library Blocks. I ordered some fun sashing and border material and can't wait to share it with everyone.
