Midweek Makers #82

This week, it's all about the animals here at Midweek Makers!

Janome 6500 and Winston

Winston thinks there's leftover spa food on the plastic bag. For some crazy reason, he licks plastic bags when he's hungry. Maybe he's attracted to the new cherry red felts Miss Janome 6500 is sporting. Who knows!

But let's move on from real animals to those in fabric. Did everyone visit the homes of these following critters? There was adorable Freddy and Flo, the flamingos made by Tanya at Tanya Quilts in Colorado

and another set of flamingos surrounded by blue pinwheels by LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color;

these adorable elephant brothers over at Densyendehimmel;

plus these paper pieced cuties made by Patty of Elm Street Quilts.

Feel free to post the 'Featured' button, or the Midweek Makers button on your blog - you all deserve it!

  1. I remember back when I had cats, they were pretty strange at times LOL - I have been busy this week making hexies for one project and dug out a discarded project to make a table runner or a narrow wall hanging - I decided long ago that I didn't want to make the whole thing after all but it was too pretty to toss.

  2. Baby Milo was caught licking the metal plant holder today... I don't know... we never know what happens behind the curtains, but maybe the technician had an especially smelly sardine sandwich for lunch just before he wrapped up your machine!

    1. Maybe. He's a stray that kept sleeping in our yard, but is the sweetest cat. I think he licked some plastic with very special food in it and got booted out of the house. Too bad the previous owners didn't learn how to deal with the behavior instead.
