Midweek Makers #95

Welcome to Midweek Makers, the place to share your projects!

I've been playing so much with charm squares over the last three weeks, that I think I've created a new quilt design! Here's a sneak peek of part of a block:

Yep, it's a rail fence block, and doesn't look very exciting. But just wait till you see what I've done with it to create a quilt - stay tuned.

As for the shares from last week, there were two that I absolutely loved! The first, which continues the Halloween/fall theme for the month, is the Dark Spooky Eyes quilt from Laura at Slice of Pi Quilts.

Glow in the dark eyes - how cool is that! Laura also has a tutorial to make your own for Halloween haunting.

On the flip side, there's this Square Peg Mini quilt made by Nancy at Grace and Peace Quilting.

Great design, and a great use of a charm pack, which I also happen to have. She made good use of hers!

Laura and Nancy, be sure to grab a 'Featured' button for these wonderful quilts!

  3. Since I have the October book you are working from, I think I know what you are going to make, but I am excited to see you make it up with those fabrics. Oh, the suspense!

  4. I'm certainly having fun with the book. The rail fence block pieces make up my own design - still putting the finishing touches on!
