Midweek Makers 108

It's Wednesday and time to link up for another edition of Midweek Makers!

For me, a bit of progress has been made on the background for my next Valentine project.

Improv Patchwork wavy mat cut strips

In keeping with the Improv Patchwork book that I'm working from this month, these are really wavy mat-cut and sewn strips. I'm not quite sure if this is the look I'm wanting, and will try a couple other techniques too, then decide. Friday's post will be full of stripes!

This week, there's three beautiful featured projects. First up is this Island Batik inspired season quilt from Den Syende Himmel.

Then this fun Kissed quilt from Sew Preeti Quilts.

And this virtually perfect paper pieced pillow from Ompompali.

Grab the 'Featured' code for these projects!

Now it's your turn - come link up what you're working on!
  • Please link directly to your specific post, not your main blog page.
  • Visit and leave a comment to two links: the one before and the one after your own. Everyone loves visitors, comments, and encouragement!
  • Bring a friend! Invite your fellow bloggers to the party by spreading the word!
  • Please link to www.QuiltFabrication.com on your post.
Have fun!

  1. Thank you for featuring me and my blog. Today I link up my new blog book. I've had so many questions about it. Seems like people don't know this is possible. It's really easy and fun, and you secure your blog content in case Blogger shut down for a reason.

  2. Hi Susan,
Hmm, now I wonder what those stripes are going to grow up and be?! I guess I'll be back on Friday to find out. ~smile~ Roseanne
