Midweek Makers #120

Another week, and another Midweek Makers!

I was impressed with the over-whelming votes for my X-block option 2 layout,

X block layout option 2

and have declared it the winner! I did make a few more blocks to test other layouts, but went back to this one. The final quilt will be a bit longer, with the big reveal, quilting and all, sometime in May.

As for last week's Midweek Makers, did everyone see the flimsy finish of 'La Passion', from Turid at The Siding Sky?

Isn't that incredibly beautiful?? I've had a great time following her progress on this quilt, and I'm full of admiration for her patience with all of those hexies - 16762 to be exact! Proud work indeed! Turid, grab a 'Feature' button:

  2. Hi Susan,
I look forward to seeing how option #2 ends up after being quilted. I cannot even IMAGINE 16,762 hexies let alone sewing them all together! Happy Wednesday!
