Midweek Makers #56

Quilt-alongs (QAL's) are in full swing, as evidenced by several showings on Midweek Makers last week.

Along with my strawberry blocks,  Anja at Anja Quilts submitted hers for the Honey Pot Bee.

Cathy at A Quilting Chick made this adorable umbrella block for the Adventurously Epic Sampler.

Lea Anne at Podunk Pretties finished up her En Provence mystery quilt from Bonnie Hunter.

Patty at Elm Street Quilts announced her Improv QAl, starting February 13.

And if you work a lot with pre-cuts, Louisa at Sew Motion is hosting a Pre-Cut Linky Party on Thursdays.

So far, I've chosen to participate in three QAL's, and hope to keep it up through the year, though it's tough when other projects come up. Maybe we can support and encourage each other to continue on - nothing like peer pressure! And I do need to get to work on these QAL's - the month is almost over.

My sharing for this week is pretty slim. The Sitka Rose quilt is on the frame, ready for quilting.

And those strawberries blocks are awaiting a setting inspiration.

I got distracted again with hearts and Valentine fabric, with possibly another table runner in the works. Really - this has got to stop.

So how about you? What awesome projects/distractions are you working on? We'd love to see them here on Midweek Makers!
