Midweek Makers #77

Welcome to the first day of summer and another edition of Midweek Makers!

There's not been much progress on the pinwheel quilts, as summer is starting off extremely hot here, and I'm loath to turn the iron on. Eventually it will cool back down, and then life will get back to normal.

Did everyone enjoy the animal features last week? This time, the feature theme is water for it's cooling effects. Now, how about catching a nice ocean breeze in this sailboat,

Or, to really beat the heat, how about this snowflake?

Such a pretty piece by Angela at Princess Bubbles Creates. Thanks everyone - I'm feeling cooler already! Feel free to place the 'Featured' button on your blog!

  1. I'm in awe of your beautiful stars in your last post...such perfect points!
I am trying so hard to improve my piecing. I guess I am a work in progress too!

  2. What would summer be without scorching hot temperatures?! It's a good reason to stay indoors and quilt!

  3. Thank you so much for featuring the sailboat. I hope you are staying cool. I do miss being outside, but it's so hot. Love the features, they did make me feel cool :)

  4. All great pieces to highlight and definitely meant for cool summer thoughts.

  5. Summer officially arrived, but Mother Nature seems to have forgotten Nova Scotia. We've only had a few nice days, and it rained today. You can send your heat to us in the East. LOL

  6. lots for us to see form other bloggers here today thanks for sharing their links

  7. Awesome work that looks interesting and valuable. Thanks for sharing this to make us able to do something creative.

  8. Thank you for hosting the link up! I sure enjoyed Sara Did It! post regarding her hexies - but then again I'm a fool for hexies! Take good care!
