Midweek Makers #81

Wow! Did that week ever go by fast! Welcome to this week's edition of Midweek Makers, the place to share your fabric projects!

There's progress to show on those t-shirt quilts - woohoo! Two down, four to go.

Number three just got started,

with the same simple, open stipple. Really all that's needed on these - the prints say it all!

And who doesn't love prints and fun fabric? Take a look at some of prints from last week, like this hand made beauty by LeeAnna of Not Afraid of Color:

these pretty batiks DonnaLee of DonnaLeeQ found on a recent trip to Skagway:

and these bright, cheery Riley Blake prints Louisa from Sewmotion is using in a wonky squares block.

I certainly wouldn't have a problem adding them to my, um, stash (wink-wink!). All right you three, grab a 'Featured' button for your awesome fabrics!

What do you have to share this week? I always enjoy the pictures and visiting with each and every one of you - so go ahead, link up!

Have a great time!

  1. That simple stipple sure does make those tshirt quilts look nice and cuddly. You will have them done before you know it.

    1. They do have a really good feel to them, due to the open stipple and a very lightweight poly batting. Sometimes t-shirt quilts can end up heavy due to the shirts and stabilizer. So far, so good on these.

  2. Congrats on whipping out those Tshirt quilts:)

  3. You are making fast work on the TShirt quilts; they look great!

  4. I will have a t-shirt quilt in my future now, something I've had no desire to ever make. Stippling is a good choice; will remember that.

    1. This will make eleven that I've done, and I actually enjoy them. It suits my creativity! And no need to go overboard on the quilting on t-shirt quilts - they just want to stay soft for lots of hugs.

  5. Thank you so much for featuring my Wonky Block, I planning on quilting the best this afternoon, ended up bigger than planned :)

Thank you so much for just made my day!
