Midweek Makers #98

Welcome to Midweek Makers! It's getting closer to the magic 100!

Definitely a milestone, and worthy of celebration - which means giveaways - get your projects started so you can share them on that special day!

Hmm, now what have I been up to? Still working away on those charm squares - I think I may have a couple more new quilt patterns in the works. And here's a sneak peek  of Scrap Happy, still on the frame.

Scrap Happy baby quilt sneak peek

Like it so far? Hopefully, I'll finish up later this week, though I sense some distractions in the works.

And this week I'm featuring two scrap quilts:
these butterflies by Joanne from Canuck Quilter

and these blooms from Deana at Dreamworthy Quilts

The color choices and placement make for a couple of beautiful scrap quilts  - be sure to grab a 'Featured' Joanne and Deana!

And now it's your turn - come link up the project you're working on so we can all see! A few simple guidelines keep the party fun for everyone:

  • Please link directly to your specific post, not your main blog page.
  • Visit and leave a comment to two links: the one before and the one after your own. Everyone loves visitors and comments!
  • Bring a friend! Invite your fellow bloggers to the party by spreading the word!
  • Please link back to somewhere on your post.

Have fun!

  1. From the looks of your quilting, it's going to be a real beauty! Thanks for hosting MWM!

  2. Hi Susan,
Ooh, I love your sneak peak on what's on your frame. And I love those colors in Deana's quilt . . . so pretty. Two weeks away from the magic number 100 - still in November. That is pretty darn special. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. They are both lovely projects, but aren't the butterflies just beyond gorgeous -- each their own definition of creativity.

    1. Yes they are! There's a pattern for butterflies like that in the Charm School book. I'd love to make it but don't know if I'll have time. Way to many things to finish first.

  4. Both are beautiful! Looking forward to seeing your next finish there too.

  5. I love your picks of the week this week, especially the butterflies. Looking forward to seeing your Scrap Happy quilt in full. :)

  6. Your quilt is looking intriguing, look forward to seeing it, and I love the colours Deana's used in her gorgeous scrappy quilt!

Thank you so much for just made my day!
