Midweek Makers #127

It's midweek - what have you been making??? I've finished the extra blocks for the Stash Statement (affiliate linkRegatta quilt, and have moved onto the freehand wave quilting. Sharing a sneak peek, with the full reveal on June 18.

Regatta freehand quilting sneak peek

In a round about way, this quilt has one of my favorite color schemes in it, red, white, and blue, though it's far from being a patriotic quilt. Sorry, but you'll have to wait to see my finished version!

And speaking of patriotic quilts, there were two shown last week:

from Lea Anne of Podunk Pretties,

and Laura from Slice of Pi Quilts.

Red, white, and blue half square triangle (HST) quilt

Pretty, aren't they? I do love red, white, and blue! And ladies, be sure to grab a 'Featured' button.

  1. The quilt from Laura looks so much like a fantastic pic nic quilt! Liking it! I have lots of HST leftovers to make this very thing!

  2. Red white and blue is one of my favorite combos. It just makes for a beautiful quilt. Those sure are some pretty blues prints you are teasing us with :)

  3. It's so nice to see the patriotic quilts popping up. These are both wonderful.

  4. Can't wait to see your finish. I used blue in my quilt for the blog hop as well.

Thank you so much for just made my day!
