and this
into items for Christmas. No pressure there!
Yes, I signed up for not one Christmas in July blog hop, but two. Those would be the 12 Days of Christmas,
hosted by Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric Addict, and Christmas in July, hosted by Carol at Just Let Me Quilt.
So, I have a wall hanging idea for the green fabrics in the first picture. Just need to draw it out some more to see if it will work.
As for the second picture of fabric, don't count on those going together in a project. The squares were originally bought to go with the greens, but it depends on the design I come up with.
Now I'm off to go design, cut, and sew - the clock is ticking!

Good luck. I love the bottom three prints in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteI never want to think of Christmas in the middle of summer, when I finally decide I want to make something for Christmas I just have to start and normally get it done for a holiday in a year or two. Good luck on finishing yours
ReplyDeleteI'm doing Carol's CIJ, too, and my sewing room is all sorts of shades of reds and greens. To think about Christmas colors is kind of difficult when it's 95 degrees outside, lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it will be great.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics and I just know that you will make something very very pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! I just started working on my project for Carol's blog hop this past weekend. It's kind of hard to get in the mood when it's 95 and very humid! I love your fabric choices and can't wait to see what you come up with. Happy Monday! ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely excited to see what you are making! I'm doing the second blog hop, and my piece is almost finished!
