Happy Labor Day!

Here it is, the official End of Summer. Labor Day.
Which means hard work, a characteristic that my zodiac sign, Capricorn, is known for.

In honor of this day, I'm taking a well deserved break from work today. No sewing, no computer work, and maybe, if I'm lucky, no cooking! That last part sounds lovely, doesn't it?

Taking a look at the 2018 Quilt Gallery, I've produced 23 quilted items this year, which works out to one just about every 1.5 weeks. That's a lot of quilts.

With 16 weeks left in the year, not to mention that that's how many weeks left till Christmas, do you think I'll pass last year's productivity of 32 quilts? It sure will be close.

Until then, here's an update on the pumpkin quilt,

still on the design wall, with a few additions still to go.

And tomorrow, two blog hops start:
Quilter's Meet and Greet, hosted by Benita for the entire month of September, and includes a fabric giveaway

AND

My Happy Place Rowalong, hosted by Marian at Seams to be Sew, also including giveaways.

For now, I'm going to enjoy my time off, and go check out the blog hops - see you there!

  1. Well done Susan! I love all of your projects.

I am still immersed in the York Lodge - Down to 7 more stars - problems and all, it has been a great learning experience!
