Midweek Makers #172

Welcome to Midweek Makers! My share today is the beautiful quilting on Ketra's quilt that I completed last week.

client quilt

The top and backing were pieced by Ketra's sister, Kondra Thomas, who unfortunately passed away last fall. Ketra wanted this put together to use instead of allowing it to languish on a shelf. Measuring in at 100" x 100", it just fit on my frame. And with her and hubby's perfect choice of both pantograph and aqua thread, the back looks just as beautiful as the front!

Quite a lovely quilt - I'm happy to have helped make it a sweet remembrance of Konda for Ketra.

As for shares last week, there were several that caught my eye:
this large, pretty block that adorns the front door of Grace and Peace Quilting,

this very fun personalized baby quilt for a granddaughter of Kat's at Scrapbox Quilting,

and several aqua blocks by LeeAnna, along with aqua's color personality description over at Not Afraid of Color.

And now it's your turn to share!
