Midweek Makers #177

Welcome to Midweek Makers! By now everyone has seen Petunia Patch 1, with 9" blocks, and Petunia Patch 2, with 7" blocks. Ah, but wait - there's more! This is the start of my crazy idea - an even smaller Petunia Patch!

That's the block front, and below is the block back, all neat and tidy.

Notice I didn't tell you the block size - that will be revealed later when the mini is all done. But isn't that pink batik really pretty? In honor of gorgeous hot pink, let's see other projects from the same color family:

from Twiggy and Opal, these scrappy potholders,

and from Sew Yummy, this Regent Street Star.

Hmm, seems pink is not as popular as aqua - only 2 versus last week's 11. Guess color trends come and go!

So who's up for sharing this week? Come join us!

  1. Hi Susan! That pink batik is gorgeous, and the back of your block looks as nice as the front. I'll stay tuned for the reveal of this little mini. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. I love your block and the back of it, if only my backs were as pretty as my fronts. I'm honoured that you featured my Regent Street Star Quilt. Thank you very much.

  4. You should have a betting pool to guess the size of the block LOL
