Midweek Makers #178

Welcome to another week of Midweek Makers! I'm sharing a couple of fabric pulls for two Accent on Angles quilts (affiliate link). Both involve a pack of eight fat quarter Asian prints, with pieces from the stash thrown in. I think I'll start with these reds, with a black accent strip,

pink Asian fabric pull

and the Autumn Joys pattern.

Then move on to a second quilt, using these blues, a gold accent strip,

blue Asian fabric pull

and the Use It Up! pattern. This one uses a bit more yardage, which I have plenty of!

Speaking of blue, I saw several projects last week in which blue was main color - check these out:

from Alycia Quilts,

from Viridian's Blog,

from Quilt Bee,

and this from Den Syende Himmel.

  1. Hi Susan! Oh, those fabric pulls are so pretty. The red batch will look so nice with a black accent, and the same for the blue/gold. I know I won't have to wait long to see some progress on either one. ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. Those fabrics are going to look great with that pop of red running through it!

  3. The blue/green pin cushion is so vibrant. ♥

  4. Both color schemes are wonderful, but I'm intrigued by the red pull!

  5. Everything blue has been catching my eye lately. Both fabric pulls are lovely and I am certain whatever you make will be stunning.

  6. Hi, Susan. Your Asian fabrics are beautiful and the patterns you've selected will showcase them well. Looking forward to seeing your progress!

  7. You just gave me the inspiration to sew up some red fabrics tomorrow. Thank you.

  8. I am not generally a heavy user of red, but your selection caught my eye! Eye Candy! MelvaLovesScraps(at)NolanQualityCustoms(dot)com
