Four to five hours to cover 900 square inches - good thing I have to time to spend on it! I should have it off the frame later today.
As for last week, there were so many interesting projects - it was hard to choose! But ultimately, the stories behind the quilts won out for this week's features:
from Sew with Sparkles, who stayed up for 43 hours in a "Last Quilter Standing" challenge,
from Grace and Peace Quilting, who has really perfected the fine art of quilt swirling,

and this handsome peacock for a challenge from Storied Quilts.

Quilting often times does that--takes way more time than we expect. I'm excited to see Pretty Paisley quilted around your latest watermelon! Thanks for featuring my 4 fish kissing quilt and the swirl! Somehow I forgot to swirl my latest quilt.
ReplyDeletelove that Peacock that you show
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! I know the quilting is taking longer than you expected, but it looks like it is time well spent to me. I know the end result will be spectacular based on the little snippet we can see. ~smile~ Roseanne

ReplyDeleteNo quilting progress for me, but soon I hope! I must organize my stash and projects.
