Midweek Makers #188

Welcome to Midweek Makers! Who has projects to share this week? Mine is a small share, a border on my Round Robin chicken house.

This round is 'quilters choice', and though it doesn't look like much, it helps set up the next two rounds. Just doing a bit of planning, as I want to make this into a wall hanging. And I now this round done on both of the Round Robin projects, with the other ready to pass along, so I'm all caught up.

Oh! And remember I talked about chasing squirrels recently?
Take a look at this squirrel, lounging outside my sliding door.

Chasing squirrels is becoming a reality! But enough about squirrels - let's look at these great finishes from last week:

from For the Love of Geese, these sparkling stars,

and from Sew Preeti Quilts, her Trinket quilt.

  1. Good Morning! I don't think I've ever seen a squirrel reclining about. They're usually quite mobile and busy. Your border on your round robin piece looks just perfect. Can't wait to see what the next two rounds bring. ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. cute chicken house! I had too many squirrels around usually and do not like them close to the house - I have had them reclining on the porch too often to the point that I had to move the bird feeder (the attraction) down to the garden which is a distance from the house that I forget to fill it to the point that I no longer have many birds around and rarely see squirrels now!!

  3. Love the chicken panel. You never know what you're going to get in a round robin. The checkers in the quilt are very pretty!

  4. I love the barn quilt on your chicken house!!! Thank you for featuring my quilt today.

  5. If I ever had chickens I'd want a chicken coop/house just like this! I have been known to chase squirrels out of my flower pots, or chipmunks out of my yard! It never stops them from coming back though!

  6. Oh my goodness, those chickens are so gorgeous and realistic!!! I love the one peeping out on the left. Thank you for featuring my Comeuppance quilt.

  7. Love that Chicken wall hanging - you are just so creative Susan - I say that all the time, but your projects are just darling!

  8. Lots of goodies to check out this week!

  9. I love the barn quilt on the chicken coop! Thank you for featuring my quilt!!!

  10. You know, I have so enjoyed following your progression your chicken coop quilt! It's so fun and pretty! I've loved seeing it evolve. In fact, I've decided to deviate from the pattern my own mini Dresden quilt just to see what happens! Thank you for sharing not only your quilt but your thought process along the way!

Thank you so much for just made my day!
