Finishing Up

Before the month of September is over, I've got a few projects that need to make it over the finish line.
The first project on the list is turning the leftover Use It Up blocks into another quilt.

Since the blocks are done, they just need setting into rows, then final stitching with a border. Quilting should soon follow, as a pantograph is all that's needed.

Next up, is the next round on my personal Round Robin chicken quilt.

It's been hanging out like this on my design wall for weeks now. Flying geese or four patches are this round's theme, and I'm thinking geese. And maybe two different styles, if I can make one work into chicken tracks - that's a drawing exercise first.

I also picked up a commission for a pillow to match my neighbor's daughter's pretty 3D pinwheel quilt that I put binding on last week.

And, last but not least, two quilts are coming in for quilting, one of them requiring custom quilting around Halloween motifs. Super fun!

So, if you don't hear from me much for the rest of the week, you'll know why - I'm spending my days quilting!! Hope you do too!
