Midweek Makers #204

Welcome to the Midweek Makers linky party!

Midweek Makers linky party at QuiltFabrication

I can't believe it's December already - can you? The last week has been so busy for me, making two McKenzie quilts, Black Friday shopping, cleaning the sewing room, and now a commissioned t-shirt quilt for a Monday delivery.

And isn't that the most fascinating picture you've ever seen?
That would be the fused backside of a t-shirt, cause I can't show the front until after Christmas, as the quilt is a gift. And since this will keep me busy all week, everything else takes a back seat. But trust me, I'll find something interesting to post about over the next few days.

How about we have a look at last week's Midweek Makers, which had a pretty good turnout considering it was the day before Thanksgiving. Just shows everyone is squeezing in sewing time, and especially these enthusiasts:

Nann and her Jumble quilt, from With Strings Attached,

Andree and her Epic Bow Tie Neutral Quilt, from Quilting and Learning,

and Rebecca's center applique medallion for her Jingle quilt, at Cheeky Cognoscenti.

Be sure to read Rebecca's post about overcoming her fear of quilting this quilt, something I'm sure every one of us has faced - I know I have.

And now on to this week's party - come share what you're working on!

  1. Good Morning Susan! Wow - that's a quick turnaround time for a t-shirt quilt. But it's in the best of hands. I hope we get to see it after Christmas. Happy Wednesday. ~smile~ Roseanne
