Midweek Makers #218

Welcome to the Midweek Makers linky party! I'm going with a blue theme this week, since my new project is mostly blue.

Those pieces are for the border, and it's all I have done right now. Most of this new runner was designed in EQ8, but I hit some limitations and finished the drawing in Inkscape. Then tons of measuring, double checking sizes, and correctly printing templates before cutting any more fabric. Hoping for a finish by Friday.

A few blue quilt projects popped up on Midweek Makers last week:
from Den syende himmel, these stars on a pretty blue background,

a baby quilt full of blue squares on Sew Yummy,

Small Idaho Square Dance Quilt Top
these awesome stars from Quilting Patchwork Applique,

and this quilt from Quilting Gail, full of 52 different blocks!

Nice work everyone - thanks for sharing! What's your share this week?

  1. Thank you Susan. I love blue fabrics, and today I share progress on my project.

  2. HI, Susan! Did you reach out to EQ tech support when you hit your design roadblock? In my past experience, they are super helpful and have always been able to figure out a way to make their software do what I want it to do even when the solution wasn't readily apparent to me. I look forward to seeing your new project!

  3. Being a 'runner' girl, I can't wait to see what you are making! I have yet to figure out all the tricks to EQ8, but love using it!

  4. Thank you for featuring my stars ;)

Thank you so much for just made my day!
