Midweek Makers #235

Welcome back to another week of Midweek Makers! Did anyone do a ton of sewing because of cancelled gatherings, or did you gather anyway, 6 feet apart of course? For me, no gatherings, just more computer work, though I did manage to squeeze in making scrappy dark blue pinwheel blocks for RSC2020.

Carrying on with the blue theme, I saw these pretties at last week's party.
From Purring Cottage, this house quilt,

from Kathleen McMusing, the Portland Headlight,

and from That Fabric Feeling, this paper pieced star.

Now it's your turn - what do you have to share from last week?
  • please link directly to your post, not your main page
  • visit the other guests and leave some comment love
  • use the Midweek Makers badge or link QuiltFabrication.com on your post
Have fun!

  1. No 4th of July celebration going on here at the farm, we baled hay! The pinwheel blocks are very pretty. Happy stitching!

  2. I do like those scrappy pinwheels. Nothing special here and not much sewing done as you will see when you visit my blog. Thank you for the linky party.

  3. I sure didn't do much sewing over the weekend. I napped and visited with my daughter. Sewing today, though!

  4. Sewing and I took a weekend break to read and relax at home with my husband. You continue to inspire me with your amazing use of the tiniest scrap! Beautiful pinwheels! They have such depth! :)

  5. Thanks so much for sharing my paper pieced star. I have some new ones to show this week. I'm sewing with some clients at work (I"m an art therapist at an assisted living facility) but sadly, I am not able to share their amazing projects. I come home tired but ready to do my own sewing. Luckily, this week I was able to dive into more paper pieced stars.
