Midweek Makers #244

Welcome to Midweek Makers - it's time to share your projects! Of course, my big share is my son's camping/backpacking quilt, The Great Outdoors, is finished. Though over a week late for his birthday, it was well worth the wait!

Of the over 2 dozen photos we took Sunday morning, this one of The Great Outdoors quilt is my favorite. Hanging off the tree like that, it just makes me feel that I'm in those woods, with my tent just a few feet away.

If you missed the big reveal on Labor Day, this is just a friendly reminder that the pattern is available at a special price now through Sept 13. There's still time to enjoy a campout!

But maybe you're ready for fall? There's More Free Fall patterns, plus you can use coupon code 'FALL2020' for a 30% discount on the Fall Leaves pattern, now thru Sept 15.

Speaking of patterns, I was happy to see Quilting by Dawn's version of Wrap Up Some Love at the party last week. I love the binding she used - it works so well!

And this Buzzing Geese Island Batik challenge quilt from
Storied Quilts that at first glance made me think of all the fires we've had here in CA. It certainly is a vibrant quilt!

Last but not least, I fell in love with this Minnesota quilt over at Grace and Peace Quilting. Such a fun way to showcase a panel!

  5. We are in part of that cold front and it went from the 90's one day to the 50's the next. Not sure I'm ready for fall! However, I do have a couple of projects that are started in fall colors. Would be nice to get them out and finally finished.
