Midweek Makers

Welcome to Midweek Makers! There's tons to share this week, so let's get started!

First, congratulations to Sarah, winner of the three hand stitching books, and to Christi, the winner of the Foolproof Color Workbook. Both quilters are looking forward to diving into their new books!

Next, Yvonne of Sew Yummy sent me a picture of her version of Fall Leaves as a table runner. With the gray background, she calls it Leaves on Wet Pavement. A very fitting title, don't you think?

From me, there's an update on my scrap blocks for the rainbow Celilo - all colors are now done! I finished up green and blue on Monday - just look at all that gorgeous color!

Now to make the final blocks and get the top assembled.

Since I'm on a rainbow theme right now, check out these other quilts in progress that are full of color.

Definitely lots of color this week! And now it's your turn - what do you have to share?
  • please link directly to your post not your home page

  1. Good morning, Susan! I would say that the picture of Yvonne's quilt is named just perfectly. It does look like leaves on wet pavement. I am so thrilled to finally have a real finish to share! It seems like ages and ages. Your rainbow scraps look so pretty - can't wait to see where they are headed. I missed your poinsettia post - I'm off to read that. Thank you for the linky party! ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. I love your piles of color -- they are so wonderfully intense. Thanks for the share of my snowball quilt. It's almost a top -- hopefully it will be one by the afternoon.

  4. I love Yvonne’s table runner! And your colors are so delicious! I love all of those jewel tones. Karen’s Country Charmer is moving along so nicely, and so is the Drunkard’s Path. Actually who am I kidding? All of these projects are wonderful.

  5. Yep I want them all!!! A riot of color. Love the Eye Spy - I have a stack of about 20 ready for placement, mostly animals. Sometimes I make doors for kids to open but this is going to the hospital. No foo-faa. Thanks everyone for sharing!
