This month for Quilt Block Mania, it's all about bugs! One of my favorites, mainly because they turn into beautiful butterflies, is the Caterpillar.
Can't you just imagine this little guy, all fuzzy and creeping along up the leaf? I made him quite colorful and hope he turns into a stunning butterfly!
Of course, my color choices were based on the provided color palette from PaperHeartDesign.com, which at first glance, seems a bit tricky. But, I managed to work the colors to my advantage for the Caterpillar.
My block is just one of the many you'll find this month. Take a look at all of these other free bug-themed blocks.
