Black and White with a Bit of Red

Another finish!
This is a commissioned quilt, for a lucky lady who's retiring.  In designing this, all I knew was that she wore a lot of black and white, and sometimes red.  And of course, cost came into play, so that's why there's not a lot of small detail, or heavy quilting.
The stars have radiating lines out from a swirl center, and the background has an arcing all-over design that I just really love!
Sorry it's a bit hard to see because of the white Glide thread on the white background.  Here's a drawing to show this easy all-over design.
The design is composed of short arcs, 1" to 1 1/2" in length, with changes in the direction of each arc.
Creates a really nice texture.

Such a simple design with awesome results! Hope she likes it!

Happy Quilting!
