Last FREE State Quilt Blocks (48-52)

The Quilting Around the Block trip of FREE quilt blocks from across the United States has sadly come to an end.

The year's long tour of all the states and territories has certainly been one fantastic journey, with a large group of quilters sharing what makes their state special in beautiful quilt blocks.

This post closes the tour, listing the final blocks of 48 thru 52. If you're just joining in, here's a list of all my previous posts that list the blocks. Some blocks may still be available for free, though I'm not sure for how long.

Keeping Up with the Free USA blocks (1-9)

More Free USA Quilt Blocks (10-14)

More Free US State Quilt Blocks (15-20)

More Free US State Quilt Blocks (21-30)

Maine Pine Tree State (31-35)

More Free US State Quilt Blocks (36-42)

That last list takes us up to #47, now we'll finish up the 52 week trip with blocks #48 thru #52.

Heading out from Arkansas, let's visit Kentucky with beautiful block #48 from Orange Blossom Quilt.

From there we'll head to Wyoming, with Dragonfly's Quilting Design Studio's block #49, a charming buffalo.

Hopping over to Montana, we'll take in the beautiful scenery with block #50 from Ladybugs Cabin.

For the next two, we'll take a flight to Hawaii with Appliques Quilts and More for block #51,

plus a bonus to Guam.

Our final stop is a visit to Illinois with block #52, curtesy of Dragonfly's Quilting Design Studio.

Though the US state tour is over, another Around the Block year of FREE blocks has just begun! For the next year it's all about sewing with the Sew Much Fun Tour, hosted again by BlockoftheMo.com.

The first block has been released, #1, from Dragonfly's Quilting Design Studio.

As I have done all year, I'll have several posts that group 8-12 blocks together so they are easier to find. For now, it's just this one, which will show up again in another post.

I hope you've enjoyed the US states tour, and join in on the collection of the new sewing themed blocks coming out over the next year.

Happy Quilting!
