Midweek Makers #367

Welcome to Midweek Makers!

I'm continuing my January Blues mood, mainly because the RSC2023 color choice from SoScrappy is bright and dark blues. And boy, am I eager to use up my blue scraps! I pulled out two stuffed gallon zip lock bags, sorting them into lights, brights, darks, and prints.

Then I started sewing them into units, using my Making Blocks from Crumbs tutorial, to grow them into bigger pieces. I think I've got enough blue scraps to make a lap quilt - it's amazing how far they'll go!

Since I'm on the subject of blocks, I'll feature some blocks seen at last week's party. From Making a Lather, these pretty snail trail blocks,

from Den syende himmel, a very pretty Chilhowie mystery block,

and from My Bijou Life, a bear paw block.

Now on to this week's party - come share what you're working on!

  • please link a quilt related item
  • please link directly to your post
  • visit with the other guests and leave some comment love
Have fun!

  1. I'm with you--I've got a mountain of dark and bright blues to work with this month! Are you really turning all yours into one throw quilt? Not sure if you were serious or joking!

  3. Of all my scraps, blues are in abundance as well! Good luck with using your scraps down. My personal experience is that no matter how much I use... they grow! How does that work? lol Blessings, Melva
