Midweek Makers #393

Welcome to Midweek Makers!

I do wish I had something to share besides everyone's favorite summer quilt, Seafarer, seen above. But sciatic nerve issues still plague my right leg, affecting the ability to run a sewing machine - ugh. Fortunately, I can use the longarm with no problem, but using a foot pedal is not in my best interest right now. Soooo hoping this goes away.

Until then, I'll content myself with highlighting the quilts of Midweek Makers guests. This week, we have Grace and Peace with a Villa Rosa flannel quilt kit top,

Melva Loves Scraps created a mini basket weave quilt,

and Quilting Gail participated in the Picnic Party blog hop with this cute bag.

Now for this week's party!

  • please link a quilt related item
  • please link directly to your post
  • visit the other guests and leave some comment love
Have fun!

  2. You have such a sunny smile! I too am so sorry about the Sciatica; I've heard it is very painful so you'd best take the time needed for healing. Good luck with it.

  3. I sure hope you're able to work through the sciatic issue! It can be so painful. I dealt with it for years until my lower back attacked with a vengeance and finally I had to have surgery. (a side-discovery of the surgery: discovered my nerves were squished in my spine and had all grown together) Still get it occasionally. Have you tried walking lots?

  5. Sciatica is really painful and such a nuisance. I looked on YouTube for exercises that helped some. Also having a sewing machine with a Start/Stop button is very handy. You don't have to use the foot pedal! Hope you get better soon.
