Here's a fun gift: a quilt themed license plate frame. Show the whole world how much you love quilting!

My son got me a personalized frame last year, with on it, license frame

and we could have gone with a personalized plate too, but decided this was enough.

For a fun, colorful item, check out these Peels thread spool holders - aren't they cute?

I could definitely use some of these, as I've got a few spools with no way to hold the thread end.

For those who love mysteries with a quilt theme, Carol Dean Jones puts it all together in book 11, Beneath Missouri Stars. There's even instructions for creating the cover quilt given at the back of the book - bonus!

Winners will be announced at next week's Midweek Makers.

And one last gift idea, which I'll be gifting to myself. It's an inexpensive lightbox for tracing applique. It's about time I upgraded from the window!

That's all there is for now and good luck on the giveaways!

  1. I entered for the puzzle book - would be nice for the winter!

  2. I use the window also! I don't do enough applique to buy a lightbox. I work a lot of puzzles though!

  3. Thanks for the chance to win one of these items. I use the window for tracing depending on whether it is simple or complicated.

  4. OMG the lightbox is great. Gotta call Santa now. I use my Janome clear sewing table with a light under but it gets hot. (also have a Betsy McCall Fashion light table from 1967!) A real Grown Up light board!

  5. I am on my granddaughters computer, so no easy access to my Facebook, Instagram ect... Their mom must of blocked the youtube access as I wasnt able to even get the videos to play- at any rate, I have enjoyed your blog, and your videos.

  6. Love the personalized license plate holder...I am on it.

  7. And you will love the lightbox. I did the one with the cutter and it is really really nice.

  8. Great gift ideas! I love Carol Dean Jones mysteries, Thanks for the opportunity!
