Welcome to the first Midweek Makers of 2021!
My share this week is the Skillet Handle Cover,
made from a pattern in the Sew Home in the Kitchen book. There's a giveaway for this fun book - click the link to go to the entry page for a chance to win a copy!
I also created the January quilt block for Quilt Block Mania. For those new to this monthly block group, sign up for my newsletter on the block page - you'll receive the link for downloading upon sign up.
For those who have been collecting the blocks and have already signed up, the link will come in the January 12 QFab newsletter. Enjoy!
Since this is the start of a brand new year, I think sparkly items are in order. Two bright and sparkly quilts caught my eye last week, this one from Creatin' in the Sticks,
- please link directly to your post
- please link a quilt related item
- visit with the others and leave some comment love
Have fun!

Happy New Year, Susan! That skillet handle cover is an excellent idea. My husband tried a new recipe last week that was cooked partly on the stovetop and partly in the oven. He forgot that the skillet had been in the oven and HOWLED when he reached for the handle on the stove -- your handle cover could have prevented a burn (but only, of course, if he'd remembered to put it on the skillet after removing it from the oven!).
ReplyDeleteChecked out some of the links - I could spend the entire day doing that! So the gift 2020 gave me: I had never read a blog before, no time for that. But with retirement and LOTS of quiet time I love reading about people from so many different countries and different talents. Thanks for bringing us together!
ReplyDeleteWish you a very happy new year. Thank you for the shout-out :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Love your bright new projects
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHum, I wonder if hubby would like one for his cast iron skillets? I think I'll ask. Thanks for sharing the idea.
