April 2018 Book of the Month

Switching gears to a new quilt book to explore. For April 2018, the Book of the Month honor goes to the Free-Motion Quilting Idea Book,

by Amanda Murphy. (This is an affiliate link for which I receive compensation for any purchase made through this link - thank you for your support!)

Flipping through the pages, I like what I see already! Tons of ideas for quilting common blocks and shapes - I can see this becoming another go-to book in my quilting arsenal. This is also a great book for both domestic and long arm quilters, as it's all about designs.

I'll be looking for ideas from this book to help me out in quilting those baby quilts for the blog hop later this month.

And if you've used this book, let us know in the comments!

Happy Quilting!

  1. I have that book too. I'm interested in seeing how you like using it.

  2. Angela is currently running an on line class for beginners and I am hoping someday to be able to do some of these designs! Can't wait to see what you combine and end up with!

  3. How interesting is it that TODAY I was looking for a new modern quilt book? This one is going in my basket. And I'm going from here to there. (May as well help a girl out.) Thanks for the post.

Thank you so much for just made my day!
